Chapter 3- Letting it all out

Nicki was on the phone with her mom about to tell her everything that has been going on for these last 3½ months. "Well, ma you know I been going to the doctors a lot these last few months... well im pregnant and going on 4 months" Nicki paused to see how she was going to break the rest of the news to her mother. "Aw Onika baby that is great, why are you just now telling me?" Nicki sighed "Well I didn't want to tell anybody because they said im a high risk pregnancy, and im having a lot of problems." Mama Maraj said a quick silent prayer to herself "What kind of problems baby?" "High blood pressure, low iron and my stress level is to high, plus i've been bleeding" "So thats why you been off these few months?!" "yes ma'am, me and Safaree just need to figure this out... you know?" "I understand baby, so beside that you are ok?" "I don't know ma, I just keep having this eerie feeling" Nicki was messing with her nails as SB walked in and seen a worried look on her face. He laid his head on Nicki's lap as she rubbed his head. "Have you prayed about it Onika?" Her mother was a firm believer in prayer, and always taught Nicki that god was always their even when no one else was. Nicki didn't answer her mothers question "So im taking that as a no, well Onika you know what you need to do and that is pray about it" Nicki knew her mom was telling her right but to be honest she was a little scared of the answer she might get. Nicki and her mother talked a little while longer before it was time for her mother to go. Safaree looked up at Nicki, he could tell something was bothering her. "So you going to tell me what's wrong?" Nicki looked down at her husband and kissed his lips gently. "Im fine babe" as she kissed his lips again and again. He knew exactly what she was doing and wasn't falling for it. "Nicki tell me what's wrong" she sighed and told him how she was feeling. "babe everything is going to be ok, you just have to take it easy and do everything the doctors say" he kissed her forehead "I hope your right, I don't know what I would do if something happened to the baby" she said as she rubbed her little baby bump. Safaree want to change the mood so he decided to put a movie in, he went with BAPS. He knew Nicki loved this movie and that it would cheer her up, even if it was just a little. He went to the kitchen to get all of her favorite snacks. They watched their movie but Nicki's mind was elsewhere, she rubbed her stomach constantly. Nicki phone started to buzz, it was message from Candi

Hey Nic, i found the number
Hey, thats good when r u going to call?
Idk, what if they don't let me see him, what if somethings wrong with him, what if he doesn't like me?
Candi they will let u see him just call, and im sure nothing is wrong with him, and y wouldn't he like u.. ur his mom.
Idk Nic im really nervous 
Well i'll come over this weekend and we can call together, if thats what u want?

                                   2 days later


Nicki was hanging off the bed with her head in the trash can, she had a horrible morning/afternoon. Safaree was down stairs to get her some ice cold ginger ale, as he was coming up the stairs he heard her emptying her stomach once again. He hurried to her side to help her with anything she needed. "Babe do u need anything else" he asked as she laid back down "no Faree im fine" she said as she rubbed her stomach trying to soothe it. She look over to Safaree and saw him staring off "Faree what's wrong?" he looked at her with worry still in his eyes "I hate seeing you like this, I just wish I could make you feel better" "awe bae im fine this is what come with being pregnant, even though I wish I could keep something down" they both laughed. "Im going to go take a shower, then maybe we can go out" Nicki said as she got out the bed.
Safaree made some calls to make sure this day was special for Nic since he knew she had been stressed out these past few months. "Come on Nicki lets go" Safaree yelled up the stairs. "Don't rush me you big baffoon" she said as she came down the steps "u look beautiful babe" She smiled her shy smile and thanked him, he grabbed her hand and they were out the door.
                                  5 hours later
It was almost six and Nicki was starting to get tired. They were doing everything today from looking at baby stuff to shopping, movies, to going out to eat.  Safaree decided to get Nicki in a hot bath to relax her body since they had a long day, he put her oil therapy in the water and lit her favorite candles. "Babe your bath is ready" Safaree shouted from in the bathroom "why do you always have to yell" Nicki said coming around the corner with her hands rubbing her stomach with the look of discomfort on her face. Nicki has been having slight cramps since they were walking around in the mall, she didn't tell Safaree cause she knew he would over react and just as she thought... he did. He ran to her side "Babe what's wrong?" "Just having so stomach pain, im sure the bath will help though" she said with a fake smile. "Well hurry and get in then, and let me know if it doesn't stop" "I will bae, can u cut off the light on your way out?" "Of course babe" he said with a kiss on her forehead.
